Sky News

I have acquired great experience producing graphics for Sky News, the award winning 24 hour news channel.

As well as producing in-house daily live to air graphics and long form projects such as General Elections, I worked with commercial clients such as Amazon, QJump and The Business Newspaper to design and/or produce Sky News sponsorships idents.

In addition, I was deputy cover for team leader of the Sky News live design area, where I was responsible for co-ordinating the design team's busy workflow, and the first point of contact for the news production teams.

The Business Newspaper Sponsorship

I designed, pitched, directed and produced these idents for The Business Newspaper, in collaboration with Sky's in-house production and VFX team.The client's agency, Mediacom, adopted my concept for the newspaper's subsequent advertising campaign.

QJump Sponsorship

I produced a series of idents for QJump in collaboration with an external creative agency. QJump sponsored the travel destinations weather report on Sky News.

The General Election / HD Channel Launch 2010

I undertook a leading role in the titles and onscreen design and implementation of the 2010 General Election, which was the launch programme for Sky News's new HD channel. This required strong project management skills to oversee the branding and implementation of these design assets across on both on-air and digital platforms.
